Most 24-hour locations start serving breakfast at 5 am and still close breakfast at 11 am.
In 2015, McDonald’s started offering breakfast menu items all-day. However, in 2019 they allowed franchises to determine when breakfast menu items were available, varying by location. And in 2020 McDonald’s All-day Breakfast was removed during the pandemic to help speed up driver-through services and save costs.
However, in October 2020 McDonald’s made bakery items are available all-day to make up for lost breakfast sales during the pandemic.
