How Much is Apple TV+ A Month?

Apple TV is only sold at a single monthly cost of $4.99, there are no other plans, and you get access to all content. However, you can pay for the entire year for $49.99, giving you a slight discount.

You can stream from 6 devices simultaneously with Apple TV. There are no limitations on the video quality you can stream, so if 4K is available, you will get that.

Apple TV Pricing Plans

Apple TV only has one monthly pricing plan ($4.99) that you can also pay yearly ($49.99) for a discount. You can bundle Apple TV with other products in the Apple One package, but the Apple TV+ features remain the same.

Apple One costs you $14.95 / month and gives you access to Apple TV+ as well as Apple Music, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple News+, and Apple Fitness+.

If you already use or find benefits from the other services, you may get a price discount, but if they don’t match your needs, the price isn’t worth it.

Does Apple TV Have Ads?

Apple TV does not include any ads in its original programming. However, if you purchase any additional channels through the Apple TV app, you may experience ads if that particular channel includes them.

You may see promos at the start or end of what you’re watching, showing you other original programming options that Apple TV has, or may advertise other available channels.

Does Apple TV Have Free Trials?

Apple TV comes with a 7-day free trial automatically when you sign up for the service; you get complete access to all programming exactly the same as a paid account, there are no limitations.

If you decide that Apple TV is not for you within those seven days, you can cancel the service, but you’ll be charged if you don’t cancel in time.

To sign up for the 7-day free trial of Apple TV+, you just need to go to Apple TV and click “Start Free Trial.” You will need to provide a credit card for your free trial.

To cancel Apple TV, you need to sign in, go to your profile settings, select subscriptions, and select cancel.

Is Apple TV Free with Amazon Prime?

Apple TV is not free with Amazon Prime, and you can not access the service as part of your Amazon Prime Video service.

Apple TV is free for seven days with their trial, which should give you enough time to binge-watch a few of their shows, but certainly not the full 66+ shows available.

Buy A New Apple Product

Apple TV+ is available for three months free when you purchase a new Apple product from Apple or authorized dealers.

If you and others purchase apple devices yearly, then you may be able to share the subscription in the same household for a longer free trial, as you get six streaming devices at once.

Sign Up With T-Mobile

Some T-Mobile plans offer one year of Apple TV+ for free, so you can check your plan, or if T-Mobile has good plans, you can switch to get this and many other benefits.

Buy A Playstation 5

If you’ve got a Playstation 5 (PS5), you can get six months of Apple TV+ for free; however, the offer expires on July 22, 2022.

What is the Cheapest Way to Get Apple TV?

Apple TV+ is incredibly cheap at $4.99 / Month; when you pay for the year, you get a good discount and only have to pay $49.99; this is the best guaranteed price for Apple TV.

If you’re a college student in the US, Canada, or Japan, then you can bundle Apple Music and Apple TV+ for $4.99 / Month for up to 48 months. So it’s a cheaper option if you want both services.

Apple TV+ can be shared within your household, and you can stream to 6 devices simultaneously, so with roommates, you can cut the price down significantly.

Is Apple TV Worth It?

Apple TV+ is absolutely worth it. For $4.99 per month, you get access to some great original programming. I haven’t signed up, but I will very soon because I keep hearing about all the great TV shows like Ted Lasso that I want to watch.

It won’t be my primary streaming service like Netflix, but the cost is low enough that it can be added as an additional option while you work through all of the shows you want to watch.

Apple TV is best for

Apple TV is best for anybody that wants to watch the original programming that Apple is producing; it’s an incredibly cheap option that gives you access to shows that you can’t see on other streaming services.

Make sure that you check out the available programming and if you see enough shows that are worth $4.99 to you, then sign up for the month or at least take the 7-day trial.

Apple TV is not for

Apple TV is not for anybody looking for a primary streaming service that offers a huge range of content from all kinds of different sources, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney Plus.

Anybody looking for live network TV would get better options with Hulu or YouTube TV.

If you’ve checked the original Apple TV programming and there aren’t many TV shows or movies that you want to see, then it may not be worth signing up.
