This comes out to $1.46 per roll. Of course, there are tons of different products and brands available on the site, but for the sake of comparison, this is the product which was chosen.

For example, the 18 mega (not family mega) rolls, which equals 72 regular rolls, is $23.55 per pack ($1.31 per roll), but not shipped and sold by Amazon. Shipping is still free, but delivery times are extended unless you pay for expedited shipping.

You can get free shipping with no order minimum with a Walmart Plus membership or you can get free next day delivery of $35 or more of only next day items or you can get free two day delivery on orders of $35 or more.

Walmart also has a wide selection of other Charmin products, as well as many different brands as well. Differentiating Walmart from Amazon, Walmart offers online order and either in-store or drive-up pick up options.

Target

Target also sells this product in packs of 6, 9, 12, 18, and 30. As is usually the case, you’ll save a little bit more if you buy the larger packs.

For example, the 6 pack costs $6.99, making it $1.16 per roll. The cost is $1.00 per roll for packs of 18 or larger. If you have a Target debit or credit card, you can save 5% on all your purchases, which is usually about enough to offset a portion of sales tax.

The Jumbo rolls are wider. Costco limits purchases to 1 pack per member. Within the time it took to write this article, the product became sold out online. When in stock, you can order to have this product delivered via InstaCart.

However, InstaCart hikes up the prices, in addition to charging delivery fees. As an alternative, the Kirkland Signature brand, which many consider equivalent to name brands, sells for $18.99 for the same pack. This comes out to $0.63 per roll.

Costco $26.99 for 30 Charmin Ultra Soft Jumbo Rolls ($0.90 per roll)

Sam’s Club

Sam’s Club sells the Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper, 32 Super Plus Rolls for $22.98 online or $21.98 in club. However, at the time of this writing, the product was sold out in my local club. Online purchases are limited to 1 pack per member. The online price equals $0.72 per roll. Each roll has 218 sheets per roll so 32 Super Plus rolls are equal to 105 regular rolls.

Of course, you have to be a member to take advantage of these prices. The Sam’s Club brand, Member’s Mark, equivalent is 45 large rolls with 235 sheets per roll for a total of 1,254 square feet. This sells for $18.98, or $0.42 per roll, but is also out of stock.

CVS

Although they have the product on their website, they state that it’s only available for purchase in stores and provide a convenient store locator which tells you if it’s in stock near you. Even though the receipts are really long, they sometimes offer good savings on related items as well as ExtraCare points which add up to additional discounts once you accumulate enough.

Walgreens

At the time of writing this article, this product was out of stock for shipping, but was available for purchase in local stores.

Walgreens says that your order will be ready for pickup in as little as 30 minutes as long as your order is placed at least 1 hour before the store closes. The product page also features discount codes for 20% off purchases of $80 or 15% off off purchases of $40.

The site provides a zip code locator tool so you can easily check if delivery or pickup are available near you. Vons’ generic brand Signature Care 12 packs sell for $9.99, marked down from $14.99. This comes out to $0.84 per roll.

Unlike Sam’s and Costco, who can limit based on your membership, you could potentially just submit multiple orders for the two packs if you needed more than that. They also sell the Charmin Ultra Soft in an 18-roll pack for $28.99, making the per roll price considerably cheaper at $1.62.

The 18 Mega Roll pack, which is equal to 72 regular rolls, sells for $18.99 and although it also says it’s unavailable to ship, it does not include the disclaimer about limited availability due to demand. This brings the per roll price down to $1.06. Cheaper still, Kroger offers a 24 Mega Roll pack for $23.99, making the per roll price $1.00 each.

Publix

You’re not able to purchase through Publix’s website, although there is a store locator on the product page. It’s unclear whether that means the product is, in fact, available since the only option is to add to list, meaning you can create a shopping list for when you go to the store.

This could be convenient since the site does tell you which aisle it’s located on, but this probably means that the site doesn’t reflect inventory. Some Publix’s do offer delivery and pickup through Instacart, but Instacart marks up the price on items in addition to the fees they charge.

Meijer

Meijer sells the Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper, 12 Mega Rolls, which is equal to 48 regular rolls for $13.65. This comes out to $1.14 per roll. The site allows you to indicate whether you’re looking for pickup or delivery and also features a store locator to check inventory in your area. Meijer sells a variety of different sizes, the best value being the 30 Mega Roll pack for $31.34 each, which comes out to a price per roll of $1.05.

They also carry the Super Mega rolls in a few sizes as well. At the time of this writing, all products were in stock except for the 12 pack of Super Mega rolls.

This comes out to $1.23 per roll, but these rolls offer more than 4 times a regular roll; even more than the Mega Rolls that most stores stock. Home Depot also limits purchases to 2 per order.

They sell different roll sizes, including the Super Mega roll. Each Super Mega roll is equal to 6 regular rolls. The 12 pack costs $25.97, which comes out to $2.17 per roll, but is 50% bigger than the Mega roll.

As of the time of this writing, it also says out of stock, which could indicate that it is available for purchase in store, but it’s currently sold out. This is the only Ultra Soft product that Lowe’s lists on its site, but it does also list Charmin Ultra Strong and Charmin Essentials Soft bathroom tissue.
