Customers can expect to pay a flat fee of $1.99 for a direct transfer to a recipient’s online bank account, credit card, or debit card. This fee applies whether one is sending $1 up to $10,000.

However, if a customer chooses to pick up the cash in person at a MoneyGram kiosk, this fee increases to $5.99 if cash is received from a bank account, and $13.99 when sent from a debit card or credit card.

Money orders can be purchased at any MoneyGram kiosk at CVS, for a fee of $1.25 per $500 money order. There is no limit on the number of money orders one can purchase.

While CVS offers the use of MoneyGram for these services, CVS itself does not cash money orders.

How Do You Use a MoneyGram Kiosk at CVS?

When arriving at the kiosk, simply touch the screen to start. Once the desired service is selected, customers will be asked to enter their phone number.

When sending money to a bank account, customers will be asked to enter the recipient’s name, account number, and bank name, as well as the sender’s name, address, and date of birth.

Customers have the option to create a four-digit PIN for future use of any MoneyGram service.

Once the service is completed at the kiosk, the customer proceeds to the CVS checkout register and will pay the cashier for the amount of money being sent. A tracking number will also be given with a receipt.

If a customer is receiving money from a bank account, credit, or debit card, they will obtain their funds at the cash register as well.
